Q. Will I be notified if I receive a review?
A. Yes, you will receive an email notification immediately that a review is published.
(Please check you have notifications enabled by Logging In, going to your profile page, clicking 'Edit Profile', ticking 'New Review' in Notifications, then 'Save All Changes'.)
Q. What if I disagree with a review?
A. We are sensitive to how upsetting it can be to receive a negative or false review.
In the event you disagree with a review of a genuine booking, please let us know why. We will post your rebuttal above the review, or may remove the review if you can prove it is unfair.
In the event you believe a review is fake (where the reviewer never used your services), we will request from them proof of the booking confirmation, and that they contacted you after the appointment to inform you of the problem. We will then contact you and the reviewer to let you know if their review has been upheld.
Q. Is my data safe if I am reviewed?
Yes, we take your privacy very seriously. Before a review is published, we always moderate it to screen for obscene or abusive language, and will remove any references to real names, addresses, or detailed descriptions of physical appearance that could identify the massage therapist's identity beyond their chosen professional name, or the client's identity beyond their chosen UKMg profile name.
Any supporting data for review rebuttals will be deleted after we have handled your query.
Q. Can I advertise on UKMg if I don't want to be reviewed?
A. Yes absolutely.
